For this recipe we use a 24 x 24 baking tray with high edges. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 40-50 minutes.
Method of preparation:
Wash the cherries and remove the seeds (or use cherries from the compote).
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put 5 eggs in the bowl and add 170 g of sugar. Beat with the mixer at high speed for a few minutes. The sugar must dissolve completely. At the end you will get a fluffy dough.

Before starting the process of preparing this delicious cake, we will put the cherries and sugar in a bowl so that the cherry syrup can be formed, which we will later use for the jelly.
The biscuits are finely chopped. You can use a resealable bag in which to put the biscuits and then press them with a rolling pin. Add the vanilla sugar and melted butter over the biscuits and mix until a crumbly dough is formed. It is poured into a tray with a removable ring. To obtain a uniform layer, you will need to level the dough with a spoon, then with the help of a glass, squeeze well until you get the top. We put it in the fridge, and during this time we prepare the cream cheese.
The gelatin will need to be hydrated in cold water. Make sure the water covers the gelatin completely, whether you are using gelatin sheets or granules.
