We prepare a bread dough in the car, with the robot or by hand. Let it rest for about 40 minutes-1 hour.

On an oiled surface, roll out a not very thick sheet of dough with the rolling pin and cut it into 8 strips 3-4 cm wide. Place the skewer sticks in a bowl with water for 2 minutes and then prick the halves of the sausages with them, cut a piece of the remaining tail, so that it is not too long and twist each sausage in a strip of dough. Place on a paper tray and leave to rest for about 20 minutes, then grease with beaten egg with a little water. If you want you can sprinkle sesame seeds on top, I prepare them naturally. Put them in the oven heated to 180 ° C until they brown nicely.

Serve with mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, sour or salads as desired. Good appetite!

The Trick To Cooking A More Delicious Hot Dog In The Microwave

There's a reason hot dog season peaks during the summer. Dogs taste their best when charred on the grill (especially when spiral cut). But hot dogs are a good, cheap and super easy meal any time of the year - you just have to know how to cook them.

The quickest way to cook a dog is in the microwave - it takes less than a minute. (Talk about home cooking at its easiest.) We know that microwaved dogs don’t have the beast reputation, but there is a way to make them taste great. Honest. You just have to know the trick.

The folks at Leite's Culinaria have shared an essential hot dog microwaving trick: a paper towel. To microwave a better dog, just wrap it in a paper towel before nuking for 30 seconds at 80 percent power. Covering it with a paper towel holds in the steam ensuring a plump, juicy dog. Easy and delicious.

How do we make pretzels?

Pretzel dough

The dough for pretzels is leavened. I prepared it following the recipe explained step by step here but with half the ingredients. For the dough, mix 150 ml of milk with 150 g of flour and leave it on the table. Then mix the yeast separately with the rest of the milk and caster sugar. Melt the butter and add the oil. Add 20 g of the butter mixture over the milk and flour composition and mix a little. The rest is kept.

Then add the yeast dissolved in milk, the rest of the flour and salt and knead a homogeneous dough, quite soft. I kneaded it for 2-3 minutes with the food processor.

Leave the dough to rise for an hour or until it doubles. Leave the dough to rise for an hour or until it doubles. After leavening, pour it on the floured table and spread it with the rolling pin in a sheet as thin as possible (2-3 mm) and grease it with the rest of the melted butter mixed with oil. Roll and leave to rise for another 20 minutes, covered with a clean towel.
